Background
Roxen Innovations (previously E-Watercraft) was founded January 2021 in Swedish town Linköping, by engineers Magnus Sundstedt, Paul Holmstedt and Martin Eronn. The three founders have more than 50 years combined experience from tech startups. Through their friendship and shared interest in new technologies came the idea of creating a product that was both fun and appealing, while challenging industry norms and limitations.
Vision
The founders’ vision of personal watercraft (pwc) Roxen, was to create something that they would want to buy and use regularly. And with water sports being a shared interest, the idea of an electric watercraft became clear as the way forward.
All design and development of Roxen has taken place in house with Roxen Innovations, including the unique driveline, app connectivity and battery pack. Further development and expansion will continue to originate from Sweden. Roxen pwc is the first of the planned vehicles to come out of Roxen Innovations continued design and technology advancements.
